Feds: Trio ran brothel in Gwinnett apartments for more than 10 years

Three people have been accused by federal prosecutors of running a prostitution ring for more than 10 years, shuffling women in and out of a makeshift brothel in rotations.

Xiaohong Huang, also known as “Michelle” or “Jenny;” Chan Kong Chow, also known as Blake Wong; and Biyun Gong were indicted on a federal conspiracy charge related to the prostitution ring, which allegedly trafficked Asian women from states as far flung as California and New York. Huang and Chow were also indicted on a federal charge of conspiracy to engage in money laundering.

Federal agents raided the apartments and a Johns Creek home owned by Huang last month. The indictment was filed May 24.

Two Gwinnett County apartments in a Global Forum Boulevard complex just on the other side of the DeKalb border were leased in Huang’s name beginning in December 2005. The complex is not named in the indictment. Apartments on that road have Atlanta and Doraville addresses but advertise access to Gwinnett County Public Schools.
