Georgia Governor Candidate Giving Away Bump Stock

A candidate for governor in Georgia is giving away a bump stock just weeks after a Las Vegas gunman killed 58 people after using a similar device to turn his semi-automatic rifle into an automatic weapon.

“Blaming guns or bump stocks for the actions of a lunatic, is the same as blaming McDonald’s for heart disease,” wrote Republican State Senator and gubernatorial candidate Michael Williams in a statement announcing the raffle Monday. “An attack on bump stocks is an attack on the Second Amendment.”

Bump stocks, which fit around the grip and stock of the gun, allow the recoil from the weapon to continuously pull the trigger, modifying semi-automatic weapons to become fully automatic.

No...

Some lunatic did not go around and stuff Big Macs down the throats of a huge crowd of people, killing 57 of them with heart attacks and causing another 500 to have a stroke.

People choose to eat bad food and run the risk of heart disease... the concert people did not choose to have some 1000 rounds of high-velocity ammunition shot at them.

...assholes in fatigues actually served in the military?

And note the hand gesture several of them are making.

It is debated, but there are some who have speculated that what looks like the innocuous OK gesture is also a white supremacy signal. Trump uses this gesture all the time when speaking (yapping/ blathering).

It may or may not be, but seeing the yahoos in that picture using it suggests to me that they think it is and they are mindlessly mimicking their idol's use of it.
