In his Jan. call with SoS Raffensperger, Trump repeatedly threatened the SoS & others with criminal prosecution for not exposing supposed election fraud. According to @MarkWinneWSB, Raffensperger & staff were so worried they hired personal attorneys. 1/4 https://wsbtv.com/news/local/atlanta/raffensperger-staff-feared-wrongful-prosecution-trump-pressured-them-change-election-results/WCAWESB7TBC5XLY2VMD37GVRDA/

Trump had nothing. He could only hurl threats but he knew his DOJ wouldn't do anything he wanted.
I suspect that Trump told Barr that he wanted to disrupt the January 6th certification. That's why Barr resigned so suddenly and got his ass out of Trump's White House.
Good for AG Raffensperger and his staff. Although they may be Republicans, they stood up to the bully in support of our Constitution. Regardless, when they're up for re-election, I'll send some money to their Democratic challengers!
