I so want this dipshit to lose his U.S. Senate bid. I doubt we'll be able to win his House seat here with it's heavily gerrymandered district( thanks GA state Repubs), but just having him lose the Senate bid would be a change for the better.

The cities down south aren't that bad. Once you get outside them, they've barely budged since the 1920s.
South Carolina is still stuck in the 1860s.

(32,017 posts)Nice to see people making their voices heard. That said, I don't think Broun's well-gerrymandered district is in play absent a ten point swing in the attitudes of the electorate.

(1,107 posts)The state GOP split Athens into 2 adjoining congressional districts to dilute the democratic vote here. Best we can hope for is someone less batshit crazy than Broun. It's sad he is so crazy, his dad -Paul Broun Sr. was a well respected Democratic State Senator for many years.
