No mask could be a very costly choice for Greene

The defiant stance taken against wearing a mask on the floor of the House by U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Rome, is turning out to be a financially costly one, as Greene is on pace to be fined as much as $100,000 this year — well over half of her Congressional salary of $174,000.

“The only time I wear a mask is when I have to fly,” Greene said this week, announcing that she had already been fined $60,500 as of November 15 — with that total going up $2,500 every day she violates the House rule on masks.

Greene also revealed that she has not been vaccinated against the Coronavirus, one of a handful of Republicans in Congress to publicly make that admission.

“I have not been making it public, but I started making it public because it’s such an issue,” Greene told her constituents in a telephone town hall meeting on Tuesday. “I’m not vaccinated, and I believe it’s up to every single American to make that choice on their own.”

3. I wonder if the OSHA vaccine mandate would apply to Congress?

They do have over 100 employees.

It's probably a moot point as it appears to be dead in the water.

5. So why is wearing a mask at the airport OK but in Congress it is against her principles?

Are her principles so pliant that they don't apply if it inconveniences her?

For moral consistency, if this is indeed a matter of principle, she should refuse to wear a mask everywhere.

She can scoff at the House rules and the fines, because of her wealth, but if she wants to fly from point a to point b, then she has to comply or be denied.

12. Exactly. I know people in California who were adamantly opposed to getting vaccinated

Doctor's offices? She wears her mask. Does she drive around without her seatbelt on, too, to "own the libs?"

She's a carpetbagger. She district shopped and ran unopposed. She doesn't legislate, nor does she educate herself on real issues affecting her very real constituents. Attention whoring and outrage tweeting are not governing. She is the best argument for a basic government test as a qualifier for office.

Oh please, oh please, oh please let her 15 minutes end with evidence she's part of the coup. She's an anti-democratic, anti-american Christo-fascist. Fuck her. Make her and the rest of the traitors the face of the grumpy old perv party. Then arrest, try, convict, and imprison her ass.
