With the help of the GA Innocence Project, a judge overturned conviction after 23 years behind bars

in 1998, a Taco Bell manager was shot and killed during a robbery in the restaurant's parking lot. Despite no physical evidence, Devonia Inman was wrongly convicted & sentenced to life in prison without parole for the murder. Another man actually admitted to the murder but (1/2)

the prosecution refused to hear the testimony and even withheld evidence.

With the help of the GA Innocence Project, a judge overturned his conviction after 23 years behind bars for a crime he did not do. Inman was finally freed from prison yesterday Raising hands
