Related: About this forumControversial Georgia monument, nicknamed 'America's Stonehenge', damaged by bomb
A rural Georgia monument that some conservative Christians have criticized as satanic was bombed before dawn on Wednesday, damaging one of four granite panels that some people dubbed Americas Stonehenge.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said the Georgia Guidestones monument near Elberton was damaged by an explosive device.
Elberton Granite Association Executive Vice President Chris Kubas told local news outlets that the monument was significantly damaged.
Pictures and drone footage show one of the four stone panels in rubble on the ground.

Honestly if God is really put out by the Georgia Guidestones you would think He could do something more impressive than crumble one out of four. That is just not up to Old Testament standards.

DOWN WITH GLOBALISTS! RESIST THE CULLING! The Georgia Guidestones is a Satanic granite monument erected in 1980 in Elbert County, Georgia as a warning to mankind about WEF-Satanic alliance.
The monument stands at an approximate elevation of 750 feet (230 m) above sea level, about 90 miles (140 km) east of Atlanta, 45 miles (72 km) from Athens, Georgia, and 9 miles (14 km) north of the center of the city of Elberton.
One slab stands in the center, with four arranged around it. A capstone lies on top of the five slabs, which are astronomically aligned. An additional stone tablet, which is set in the ground a short distance to the west of the structure, provides some notes on the history and purpose of the guidestones. The structure is sometimes referred to as an "American Stonehenge".[1]
The monument is 19 feet 3 inches (5.87 m) tall, made from five (previously six) granite slabs weighing 237,746 pounds (107,840 kg) in all.[2]
On July 6, 2022, the guidestones were partially destroyed. Some initial reports say it may have been a bombing.
