(21,615 posts)Yesterday, I found out Ive called for jury duty on November 7, so Ill have to get all of my GOTV and on the doors work done before then.
I will probably make phone calls on the 7th.
During the January 5, 2020 Senate & Public Service Commission runoff, I was on the doors until 6:30pm and the polls closed at 7pm.
GOTV! Vote for Georgia Democrats all the way down the ballot! Remind your friends and family to vote! Share the links above with anyone who needs more information on how, where, and when to vote!
Send postcards, phone bank, and go door to door!

(3,251 posts)Even though I'm retired, I still have a business I run as a sole proprietor. That limits the time I can spend out in the field with GOTV.

(21,615 posts)Have you considered writing post cards to voters?
You can do this at home on your own time. Various campaigns supply addresses and postcards. You write a messsge, add the name, address & postage!
I found that to be a really great way to connect with Democrats here in Georgia during the 2020 election campaigns.
I also enjoyed receiving postcards from fellow Democrats, many of whom were from states other than Georgia! It really felt personal and I was so glad to know that people were supporting us here in Georgia.
Please talk to everyone about voting early or on Election Day! 🗳🍑🇺🇸

(3,251 posts)I was a bit surprised today when voting. For some reason, I missed it on the sample ballot. But they asked if the pay of the Governor or Lt Governor should be suspended if they are convicted of a felony? Honestly, I thought that was a given.
