After going two months without taking questions from reporters covering his campaign, Walkers aides are taking new steps to insulate him from even shouted press questions #gasen

New rule at Herschel Walker events: journalists cant get within 20 feet of Walker afterwards.
It would seem this is to prevent journalists from shouting questions.
Because Walker hasnt had a presser for nearly 2 months, press have been left with no other choice. #gapol #gasen
Thus shows Walkers weakness.
In contrast, Senator Reverend Warnock is meeting with the citizens of Georgia all over our state and engaging with the press. Vote for Warnock!
GOTV yall! 🗳🍑🇺🇸 Dont stop!
Re-elect Georgia Senator Rev. Raphael Warnock!
He represents and stands for all Georgians! 🗳🍑🇺🇸
There are 2 more days of early voting on Thursday 12/1 & Friday 12/2 before Election Day on Tuesday December 6, 2022!

(3,586 posts)My boy I was never an ordinary vampire. Or did you forget what I used to be? I've killed more men than God's plagues combined. And that was before I started eating people for fun. The fields of Europe used to steam with the blood of my enemies. Trust me the vampire's the least of your concerns. It's the old man you need to worry about.

Very same Press!??
Could it be the Press like the campaign ad money, $16B nationally for midterms, far more than truth or the Voters? Or they resentful the next election cycle and ad spending has not begun in earne$t nationally due to this road bump?
Dunno, tough one!

(21,615 posts)In the past, it was quite rural, but has suburbanized in the past 30 years with the development and expansion of a county water system.
The old Jackson County was mainly farms and rural homes with the County Seat of Jefferson and a few smaller towns. There was a mix of the Dixie Mafia, bootlegging, car stripping rings, cock fighting rings, and put bull breeding operations.
The modern Jackson County is suburbanizing. In addition, Hispanics began moving to the area in the mid 1980s. There are major supermarkets and shopping areas. Times and demographics are changing.

(26,345 posts)Towns, Union, Fannin, and Gilmer Counties. There were Warnock signs everywhere! It was glorious to see. We can do this again. GOTV.

(21,615 posts)I noticed that there were only a few remaining Trump signs in the Georgia mountain counties and only a few Walker signs when I drove through this past summer. I saw lots of Burt Jones (Lt. Gov candidate) signs.
When up in North Georgia, I never saw any signs for any Democrats in the general election.
In a statewide race, every vote counts equally. The GA GOP cant gerrymander the Senate race.
Get out every last Democratic vote! 🗳🍑🇺🇸

(29,871 posts)it's so clear that Walker is a living nightmare, incompetent to serve. Fuck he can't even string together a sentence.
and yet here we are. Why is it that Democrats in the South were so happy to switch to Republican when the CRA was passed, but now that the republican party has devolved into a fascist wasteland full of idiots, they're too Republican to even consider voting for a Democrat?
all i can come up with really is racism.
I will say that Warnock has an army of people pushing texts. I block several a day, since I have already donated to his campaign on multiple occasions. That there's even a sliver of a chance that he may lose is so depressing.

Making fun of this is of course bigotry. But they're not concerned about that. I can't wrap my head around it. ❤️

(36,911 posts)After he appeared dazed and confused trying to answer journalists' questions his handlers insulated him from the public. Most of the time he simply read a script in order to avoid situations like the time he couldn't recognize his only black cabinet member and the time he told a fake story about a medal of honor recipient to a group of real medal of honor recipients.
Leave it to the GQP to prop up a brain damaged politician as a viable candidate. I suppose in their defense he can't possibly be any worse than the group of pinheads like MTG, Boebert, and Gohmert Pyle.
