First thought was some kind of hack got to the control system and jacked up pressures to cause weak distribution elements to fail.

I'd be the first to admit I know little about water delivery systems and how they're controlled — as well as my little theory sounds pretty kooky.

Still, multiple failures at once seems unusual.
