Cook County asks for permission to start counting early

There are a very large number of absentee votes coming in. So many, that the voting counters claim that they would be unable to get a tally if they are forced to wait until the polls close. It is likely that they will be given permission to start counting now, so long as all of the results are kept quiet.

High turn out? Good for the governor, the senator, and most of those Ds running for the house.

It is impossible to count all of the tens of thousands of ballots all on election day. If they do all of those that come in daily, then by the close of elections, we will have the actual tally. Or do you want to wait until 2015 for the results?

they have a much better idea of how much they have to fuck with things to get a desired outcome.

The old addage...."if it can be done...it will be done" comes to mind.
