U.S. Attorney’s Office
April 03, 2015

Northern District of Illinois
(312) 353-5300
CHICAGO—Consistent with a long-standing practice of the office, the U.S. Attorney’s Office will monitor the election in Chicago on Tuesday, April 7, 2015, Zachary T. Fardon, United States Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois, announced today. As part of the monitoring effort, the office will operate a hotline for candidates or the public to call to report any complaints relating to voting. In addition, Assistant U.S. Attorneys will be available to respond to complaints as needed.

The hotline number is (312) 469-6157.

Coordination of the monitoring efforts and subsequent investigations, if any, will be directed by Assistant U.S. Attorney Maureen Merin. The Chicago Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the U.S. Marshals Service will assist in this effort by following up, if necessary, on any election fraud complaints.

where i got this news release from, like I do every morning, prefers if these news releases are spread.

I cannot use it. San Diego does not have an election right at the moment. For some odd reason Chicago does. I am also willing to lay good odds, that most people in your fair city do not know this information. Why am I willing to say this? The number of releases that I get every morning involving San Diego, that are not spread by the local news media. They tend to involve silly things like white collar crime, but it is a fact.

You too can subscribe to the email list and test this theory.

If you know this is SOP, and it is, fine, are you having a problem this being spread to your fellow DU'ers who might not be aware of this and live in Chicago and might even, I don't know, vote in the election?

Many, many reasons why I prefer to stay away from this place.

Thanks for reminding me.

Have a good day.

I don't care if you answer.

i just wanted to make sure that those who are voting here can expect this on this election day and all the others.
in spite of our reputation, there is not much election fraud here. or voter fraud, either.
