The JB-Juliana Bus tour stopped in Decatur yesterday

I will tell it was awesome seeing them, hearing them and talking with them. The enthusiasm in our crowd was sky high and we got to hear from several of our local candidates as well as office holders to point out a few of them:

- State Senator Andy Manar is a real star and as well spoken as I have heard in person, including Obama and being a downstate democrat, he is not highly recognizable in our state but could easily seek higher office. Reminds me of a young Dick Durbin

- Sen Dick Durbin and his all encouraging words and insights, I'm pretty sure he will nor seek re-election, he has done enough and deserves to retire. A true statesmen and a hero of the Democratic Party, too bad he has not been our Senate Leader....way better than Reid or Schumer and formidable

- Betsy Dirksen Londrigan, our next congress person as Rodney Davis still running away from debates with her and her presence is growing larger every day as she continues to outraise Davis who will have to depend on outside PAC money. She is holding townhalls all over the district and daily events on top of them. The word is spreading and her and her family's connections to Springfield is a huge plus

- Juliana Strattom, she is a BIGTIME player and has a REAL future, very powerful speaker. I see her as a future Governor or Senator

- JB Priztker, our next govenor, he projects confidence, vision and trust. Very accessible as I had a few moments to speak with him. A sense of humor AND a listener

- Mary Kathrine Priztker, if you believe behind every great man is even a greater woman, she is this woman just like Michelle Obama

2. no denying Rauner is sunk and he has NO positive message he can run as he accomplished nothing

of value in 3 1/2 years except perhaps enrich a bunch of Illinois debt holders
