Not sure of his whole history as I am from elsewhere. But, I liked what he said.

1. Follow your training which is to de-escalate.
2. Help each other -- but do not stand idly by if another officer does wrong.
3. Be vigilant.

Minnesota DA and the Feds are screwing up by not arresting these guys on a bottom charge (like assault or inappropriate use of force). They can add onto the initial indictment all the time. First cop that flips gets a deal the others go down for Depraved Indifference to human life or Aggravated Manslaughter.

Other communities who have their own long term history are going to pay the price for the spineless behavior of prosecutors in Minneapolis/St Paul.

This is what many of the people who voted Trump in wanted -- an excuse for all out race war. This is what the top 1% was willing to tolerate to get their $3 trillion tax cut.

But -- this guy and the guy who said if you don't think that is wrong should turn in their badge are trying to do the right thing -- putting out fires elsewhere that are being stoked in Minnesota.
