It ended with him saying, "I'm Darren Bailey, and your safety will always be my prority!"

My rejoinder: "Oh, come on, Darren. We both know you wouldn't give a rat's ass about my safety if my life was endangered by a tubal pregnancy or I was about to go septic from an incomplete miscarriage, you fucking hypocrite!"

Those things are happening RIGHT NOW, in states like Texas that have the kind of abortion bans that Bailey would like to see everywhere, including Illinois. I am SO sick of being slapped in the face by his lying, hypocritical mug every time I turn on my TV!

Note: I am way too old to have to worry about any of this stuff myself, but I am sick about what women are being put through in this country since the Supremely Unethical Court struck down Roe.

It's crime, crime, crime, no cash bail for criminals, murders, and, oddly enough, shootings.

He is blaming Pritzker for the rise in shootings. Which is kind of rich.

Says here he's got endorsed by Fraternal Order of Police and Illinois Sheriffs' Association.

That will go a long way around here. Folks around here are law-and-order types. In principle.

They still have a Trump pick-up truck convoy every Friday night that runs down Main Street all the way out to the Wal-Mart. And people turn out for it. Like a parade, with a Lemon Ice and French Fry truck out there.

He's playing heavy in the fear factor, but it won't do him much good. Chicago will save us once again. Pritzker has a lock on this.

I just wish the Republicans like Bailey weren't so casual about damaging our communities. They are really screwing up the relationships, respect, and trust that make small towns work.
