(124,078 posts)2. To Trump, selling a Senate seat shouldn't be a crime at all.
It's just a normal transaction in a totally corrupt political system, so why not pardon Blagojevich for doing the sort of Trump would have done had he been a governor. He's probably already sold some of his current appointments; many of the appointees are wealthy and could easily afford a hefty bribe.

Just like nearly everything Trump does. Not surprised he likes Blago, though. In his corruption and psychopathy, Blago is like a brother from another mother to Trump.
