Joe Donnelly teaching two courses at Notre Dame this semester

SOUTH BEND — Former U.S. Sen. Joe Donnelly is teaching some courses at the University of Notre Dame.

As part of Notre Dame’s effort to incorporate real-world experience into its classes, the university asked Donnelly to teach two one-credit courses this semester, Notre Dame spokesman Dennis Brown said Tuesday.

One course is in political science and the other is in the Keough School of Global Affairs. Donnelly’s title is professor of the practice.

Donnelly, a Democrat, earned bachelor’s and law degrees from Notre Dame.
