INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Fort Wayne’s NBC) - Republican legislators say they will unveil plans for abortion legislation Wednesday afternoon.

In a media release, Senate Republicans say they will announce the bills they are introducing for the special session, set for July 25, at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Senate Chamber of the Statehouse. You can watch that press conference live on Fort Wayne’s NBC Facebook page.

Fort Wayne’s NBC News reported in March that Hoosier Republicans in both the House and Senate wrote a letter to Governor Holcomb, asking him to call them back into session if the U.S. supreme court overturns Roe v. Wade, which they officially did on June 24.
