OK, I know that there were a number of schools and other public facilities with burst pipes and water damage but they won't see any federal funds. Ballard will make sure of that.

Snow removal after this last storm was the worst I've ever seen.

The streets were STILL horrendous, especially downtown, on Thursday. Inexcusable. I even drove through a rough patch of ice and snow on Allisonville near 465 on MONDAY.

I hate to dump on the public works folks, but for a big city, the snow removal was abysmal. This request for funds deserves a big unless Ballard admits things could have been better and the money would be committed to making it so.
