"All you can do is hold your head high, be proud of what you did, and all the credit in the world to LSU," Clark said. "They were tremendous, they deserve it. They had a tremendous season. Kim Mulkey coached them so, so well. She's one of the best basketball coaches of all time, and she only said really kind things to me in the handshake line, so I'm very grateful for that too. But honestly I have no idea, and I was just trying to spend the last few moments on the court with especially the five people that I've started 93 games with and relishing every second of that."

(3,533 posts)They are BOTH excellent basketball superstars at the guard position. Angel Reese will add a lot of excitement to the professional league at the forward position, Hope the WNBA gets a lucrative TV deal rewarding these players for their skills.

(63,196 posts)way over capacity. I can't think of any other women's team in the country drawing like that - maybe Connecticut.
One thing I have always loved about Iowa is how they treat women. For the most part as equals. Kim and her minions are trying to change that.
We go back with Women's basketball to the early days of Vivian. We had 2 little girls and what a great time we had watching the game and chewing some popcorn. There was often a meet 'n' greet after the game. The players were so nice - much as Caitlin has shown this year.

(23,626 posts)She retired last year from?? Rutgers I think.. but .. another great basketball legend.. its got to be in the water.. and having to walk beans.. you learn to turn on a dime.. thats my theory and I am sticking to it .. I mean when I watch Caitlin move, she is more like a dancer than anything else..
