Iowa
Related: About this forumI am not looking forward to work next week.
After Iowa's performance today there will be considerable amounts of talking of the smack amongst my co-workers. I'm almost ready to call in dead next week.
Ugh.

(50,757 posts)4. Yeah, that was pretty disappointing.
Stanford's band's bull shit didn't help any.

I can take our team being outplayed on the football field. But this bullshit Stanford's "band" pulled is unacceptable. I never went to Iowa but where I went to school if our band had behaved like that towards an opposing team security and/or the local police would have escorted them off the field, and there'd be firings and student discipline following the next business day.
