and it was a resounding no on that question.
I gave them time but they stood on opposite sides of the room and no one moved.
There was some taunting that started and i told them to quit it. So not in our caucus.

There was some talking back and forth but mostly just socializing I think. Both sides tried hard to get the O'Malley people to their sides though. In the end, Gov. O'Malley had one supporter and we got the rest of them, resulting in a win for Bernie. None of them went to Hillary's side.

Just over 100 people. Pretty much split right down the middle in support. We got five of the O'Malley/undecided people. In the end I think it was like 48 to 53. We're sending two Sanders people and three Clinton people to county next month.

Deep red county, all-Cruz, but Wellman Dems went 70 Bernie to 65 HRC. As Bernie captain I couldn't be happier.

I played this same role for O in 2008 and found it much easier to communicate with supporters. Not so this time. It seems that this time we were a rag-tag group of show-ups who happened to outnumber the HRC folks.

372 - Was around 150 in 2004, more like 200-250 in 2008. But wall-to-wall people in 2016!

The split was 70% Bernie, 30% Hillary. So it was a real bummer when I turned on the tv at home and it wasn't like that in every precinct.

One of the best parts of the evening for me was sitting with a family that I'd known for years - conservative, evangelical Christians - who were solidly for Bernie, and enjoying their first Democratic caucus. They were sick of the PAC money and billionaires buying elections. Their 17 year old son took the opportunity to try to convince the O'Malley/undecided people, and then later to be a delegate to the county convention. I was a delegate to county in 08, and will be this year too.
