Weather today

I know up north it was pretty bad but it didn't seem as bad around here as they were thinking it was going to be earlier in the week.

I got up to use the facilities at 3am and looked out the window and it wasn't snowing then. Later today I had to run down to the gas station to get gas for my brother's snowblower after he didn't have enough to do the driveway (he's in the Caribbean this week) and the roads weren't too bad. Just wet around here.

How was the weather for everyone else in our group today?

1. Rain in the morning and gloomy the rest of the day.

Tonight is super foggy and 40 degrees. Most of the rain and snow will miss us and head NE. Saturday and Sunday may see 50 for a high. I'll take it.

2. Southeast - slushy and quite windy

a minor frosting of snow. Also had sleet and hail and small iceballs in an odd sequence.
All in all, gods told me to stay home and rest after the caucuses

3. Cedar Falls cancelled school for the second day in a row

Today we got some heavy wet snow in the morning, and a lot of wind. It's not bad in town, but I guess out in the country it is not good at all.

4. Gloomy and windy

Getting colder but no precipitation.

5. I'm still in North Dakota but my Parents got 12 inches in NW Iowa.

Will be stopping there tomorrow. Hopefully.
