Deja Vu: Petition to fire Steve Alford at UCLA posted yesterday

Those of you who have been on DU for a while may remember those dark days of Iowa basketball about a decade ago when Steve Alford was in charge. Who replaced him or where he went we cared not - just get him and his holier than thou attitude out of Iowa.

So today I am watching his team get beat by Stanford and look lousy doing it. I am thinking - well he's been there @3 years - wonder if he has worn out his welcome yet. So I do a little searching and lo and behold an online petition to get rid of Alford was posted yesterday.

Right on schedule.

He did that while here in Iowa. Once an enabler, always an enabler...
