Some Iowa families don't have coverage for autism treatment

http://www.kwwl.com/story/31862935/2016/05/02/some-iowa-families-dont-have-insurance-for-autism-treatment#

Sharing this because (a) it is another disgusting example of the Iowa House Republicans leaving Iowa families to struggle and suffer on their own, and (b) I've known the young man in the segment for a number of years and think he's a great kid.

The Iowa Senate voted to make insurers cover autism treatment, but the measure failed in the Republican-controlled House. The news segment concludes with a statement from local Representative Walt Rogers (R- Believes in fairy tales) who says the issue will be resolved without "government interference". Yeah right. Like insurance companies ever do the right thing without being legislated or shamed into it.

*and here's a pitch to support Gary Kroger, who's running against the abominable Walt Rogers*
