Iowa Marine killed in WWII returned home.

Some good news for an Iowa family;

Marine Private Palmer Haraldson returned to his home state of Iowa.

He was killed during battle in the Pacific Islands, fighting the Japanese during World War II and was buring in a mass grave with other U.S. Marines.

Haraldson's remains weren't found until last summer, and finally were identified using advanced technology.

Haraldson wil be buried tomorrow in his family's plot in Fort Dodge.

Having an MIA from Korea in my family myself I'm glad the Marines were able to return someone to his family.
