Dubuque country reich to life spiking the football

And of course the reich to life folks here in Dubuque are all excited about taking rights away from women;

This year’s Dubuque County Right to Life annual banquet was a little more celebratory than in the past.

Many attendees on Friday night expressed excitement over the passing of legislation known as “the heartbeat bill.” Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds signed the bill, which bans abortions after a fetal heartbeat is detected, into law Friday afternoon..

“I think it’s such a blessing,” said Jo Ann Turner, of Galena, Ill., Friday night at the Grand River Center. “It feels like all of our working together and prayers have paid off.”

Turner was one of about 520 people who attended Dubuque County Right to Life’s LIFE Dinner, which acts as the annual banquet for the anti-abortion organization.

These people may want to remember "Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall." (Proverbs 16:18).
