Joni Ernst: People investigating Trump are just like cop who killed George Floyd

'We're trying to ferret those people out.'

Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) compared the police officer who killed George Floyd to the Justice Department officials investigating Donald Trump, during an interview with a local radio station earlier this month.

"The example of George Floyd, you know, that was a bad actor, a bad policeman. We do have bad actors at the FBI and Justice Department as well," Ernst told KXEL, an Iowa talk radio station, on July 3 referring to investigations into Trump prior to the 2016 election.

"And so we're trying to ferret those people out," she continued. "We want to know how far this goes. Is it from just some bad actors in a basement somewhere at DOJ and FBI, or does that rise all the way to the top to President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden?"

have not had to interact with any Business in that area since 02'. It was bad then and that cult like garbage extends along the Western Minnesota border to just south of Marshall.

We have been trying to get our house ready for sale for the last 1-2 years with the hope of getting out of here too. Of course with the Trump economy, selling now might not be a good idea. We might have to wait a year of so longer until the economy improves.

until it went down. I never have high blood pressure and haven't since. This was a few months after my wife died of cancer. We had Obamacare and thank heaven we did. Ernst is such a sack of bullshit. She is the perfect GOP senator no inquisitiveness, no interest in facts, truth, Iowa, or Iowans. Dollars from Donors is her only game.

She went to high school in Stanton. Welcome sign used to have the phrase "Little White City" (the house paint).

I shit you not.

All the wonderful leadership from our senators, governor, and the white house is not helping my blood pressure one bit. I've been taking BP meds for most of the last 4 years.

So sorry about your wife.

https://www.politico.com/news/2020/04/21/senate-intel-report-confirms-russia-aimed-to-help-trump-in-2016-198171

Tuesday's bipartisan report, from a panel chaired by North Carolina Republican Richard Burr, undercuts Trump's years of efforts to portray allegations of Kremlin assistance to his campaign as a "hoax," driven by Democrats and a “deep state” embedded within the government bureaucracy.

.......................

“The fact that you have a committee with members that range from John Cornyn and Tom Cotton to Dianne Feinstein and Ron Wyden coming to a unanimous conclusion that that report was correct and was soundly based, I think is very significant in light of the continuing questions about what did the Russians do and how did they do it,” Sen. Angus King (I-Maine), a member of the intelligence panel, said in an interview.

“This puts it to rest,” he added.

Ernst's Senate office is some kind of information black hole that prevents her knowing anything about everything.
