Sedgwick County Election Office in need of more election workers
SEDGWICK COUNTY, Kan. (KSNW) — The Sedgwick County Election Office is in need of more election workers.
Election Commissioner Laura Rainwater says they could use about 25 more in various roles.
“We are looking really good, but you always have people that cancel at the last minute, so it’s better to overstaff than understaff,” said Rainwater.
Staff have been working nonstop to recruit more election workers, especially for the 28 new polling sites this year.
