Kansas School Superintendent Resigns to Save District Money

The superintendent of a south-central Kansas school district has resigned so the district won’t have to pay his $81,000 salary.

Superintendent Mike Sanders announced during a meeting Wednesday that he would resign from the Skyline district in Pratt County at the end of the school year.

He says he and the school board had already decided he would be part-time and a consultant next year, but it was apparent the district couldn’t afford his salary.

18 people in the district have been reassigned, had their hours cut or are losing their jobs, saving about $477,000.

1. Actually cares about education, good, because the Koch owned government there

HATES education other than for certain people.

Koch bros want highly educated doctors and engineers, and they support elite groups in those areas, but they hate educating the masses.

budget has had massive cuts. Doctors, not so much.

by the koch dynasty as to fitness of our skills to "needed" skills.

There would be encampments for us to live in..whether a person is
of wealth or poor as dirt..the kochs envision a society of 'sameness.'

Because our current lifestyles are too full of fruitless enjoyment. Ideas
of protecting the environment..don't mix well with libertarian anti global
warming viewpoints.

Its all just a business decision..What boeing liked to tell the laid-off
engineers as new programs wind down.

Nothing personal you understand...just a business decision...
