and dropped my shotgun in the snow crossing a fence. I took a poison sumac branch that is fuzzy and ran it through the barrel of my gun, it cleaned it like a whistle.

And I always happen to brush by some at least once a year!
I just bought a gallon of vinegar and a pound of salt to mix one part salt to six parts vinegar to use in a spray-bottle to kill it without herbicides. Be careful not to spray on needed plants!
