TWO Tech Hubs in Maryland.

https://www.commerce.gov/news/fact-sheets/2023/10/fact-sheet-biden-harris-administration-announces-31-regional-tech-hubs

I thought I'd do a copy/paste of where they are. They are ALL OVER THE US and cover EVERYTHING TECHNICAL. I am hoping that the states/regions that signed up for this have a plan for developing a tech-savvy population that can sustain the initiative. I think if they hype it, show how cool the technology is (OK, maybe non-techies don't get excited about innovative technology), talk about the job opportunities, they can build some excitement.

I have TWO in my state (Maryland) - Baltimore Tech Hub for personalized medicine and Greater Philadelphia Region Precision Medicine Tech Hub- end to end precision medicine. Baltimore has some great hospitals, including Johns Hopkins, so I am very glad that we won this. I am thinking that the second one will extend into Harford and Cecil County.

Was in Bawlmer today, passed thru your neighborhood, and 'business' Hopkins went well (but Downtown campus so confusing! Bayview much easier to get around!)
