Founder of Legal Seafoods in Boston has passed away.

https://www.bostonglobe.com/2022/02/26/metro/legal-sea-foods-founder-george-berkowitz-dies-97/

He had 3 sons, the youngest married my daughter and they have 3 daughters.

I remember George and his stunning wife Harriet at many family events. George thought highly of my daughter and welcomed her into the family. I remember how he described her "movie stah looks!" at the wedding.

My son in law didn't want to go into the family business and has worked as a political advisor with a Boston group that helps run Democratic candidates campaigns for over 20 years.

George lived a wonderful life. His service was held today.

We celebrated our older daughter's graduation from Wellesley College there with our family.

Thanks for sharing your story.

RIP George

he was glad to find out that his new daughter in law (my kid) had gone to Mt. Holyoke. He thought she was "smaht."

daughter went to an all women school saying, "She's so pretty!"

It amazes me that I didn't strangle the guy right then and there. I guess I had never heard the idea that only plain looking girls went to all girls schools -- that they would have gone to a co-ed school if they were pretty...
