MI Republican offical murdered in Canton Township

Nathan Morris, was the secretary of the 6th Congressional District Republican Committee.

"Nathan Morris, 35, and his family were out for a walk Saturday morning in their Canton Township neighborhood when the incident occurred, according to a statement from Republican National Committee committeewoman Hima Kolanagireddy. The neighbor allegedly produced a gun and began threatening the family. Morris sent his family home, saying he would try to diffuse the situation."

Why wouldn't you just leave? I'm sure he sent his family away to "diffuse" the situation without them. Hope the assailant gets life, what a tragedy.

4. Strange. Another article says the guy became irate when Morris's daughter touched his mulch! And

another neighbor claims shooter has mental problem.

5. Sounds like the shooter shouldn't have had a gun -and perhaps possessed it illegally.
