Wayne judge candidate (R) won't run on his record because it includes lies and beating women
There aren't many judicial candidates who can match Daniel Mercier's resume:
Three women accused him of beating them.
Two states found him unfit to be a lawyer. He was disbarred, but persuaded officials to instead suspend his law license for three years.
He was charged with being in an accident and driving away, but cut a deal and copped to careless driving.
He has been sued for unpaid bills and the state of Michigan twice put liens on his properties for unpaid income taxes.
