I’ve ever witnessed. In the last 2 weeks my wife and I have been all over the mitten. We live in the north, 2 kids live around Ann Arbor, one is in Battle Creek. Visited them all and were blown away by the colors. Our neck of the woods is up in the Huron-Manistee National Forest. Along the AuSable River the sites were amazing.

I said to my betrothed its like a never ending fireworks show...you look and it’s oooh, ahhh, wow look at that! And it never gets old.

My thought though if Nature is giving us this show...is it an early apology for this years Winter?

Even though most of the time was windy, rainy and cloudy, that gave the lake that much more power to display. And, when the sun DID come out, the scenery was breathtaking.

I honestly can not say enough great things about Northport and the Leelanau Peninsula.
