Dearborn Heights Mayor Dan Paletko dies from COVID-19 complications
Dearborn Heights Mayor Dan Paletko died late Tuesday from complications associated with COVID-19.
The city issued the announcement after midnight on Facebook and Twitter, calling the death sudden.
Further information was not immediately available.
Paletko, who was 70 years old according to state legislator records, was a longtime politician and had a year left in his term as mayor.
