In the hospital w/ my wife who is recovering from emergency surgery and giving thanks to the amazing medical staff who treated her & 5 SCT justices who allowed me to stay by her bedside instead of fighting with hospital staff over whether I should be considered “family” or not.

But still not appreciating everyone who has asked if I am her mother.

Every time I hear her or Gretchen speak I’ve thought damn those Michigan women have guts and wonder if we will see them in Washington maybe as President. Even better if she breaks that barrier and brings along a First Lady.
