Wow. All 3 props will pass. All 3 big state wide races stay blue. Supreme Court stays blue. US House delegation looking like 7-6 from 7-7. State Senate flips blue for first time in 40 years. State House still in the balance. Both US Senate seats already blue!
My home Us House district flipped from red to blue.
This was a blowout State wide of epic proportions.

(4,598 posts)AND UNEXPECTED.
THE GOP HAS BEEN IN CONTROL OF at least one for the last 40 years.
and I am hearing now- that they House is going to flip, as the Senate has already.
Holy Cow- !
Some of the things jammed down our throats over the last 40 years:
the GOP passed "right-to-work" in 2012.
The GOP passed rules against using Union Labor rates in government contracts.
Now BOTH those can be changed starting in January.
GO GO GO To the BIG BLUE WAVE IN MICHIGAN!

(28,645 posts)I have great trust and respect for Gov. Whitmer. I know she will lead us well.
But man, after 40 years .... My heart's about to explode in happiness!
Still following the national campaign, and it does look like Dems will definitely hold the Senate, and will probably get to 51 seats is Warnock wins. When I look at the House and worry a little, I always just think of what happened here in MI. A blue tidal wave!
Think about that, a blue tidal wave in a mid term where the conditions were set for a red tidal wave. Where a red wave was all but a given. In the midst of that, Michigan is the talk of the country. Just blowout wins for Democrats all across the state.
