SPOTLIGHT RACE: Harley Droba for MN-HD03A
Hello, I’m Harley Droba, and I am running for the Minnesota House of Representatives in District 3A. Let me share a bit about myself.
I grew up in International Falls, Minnesota, and have always felt a deep sense of commitment to serving others. My journey of service began in the Army, where I proudly served our country. This experience shaped my life profoundly, instilling in me a lifelong dedication to advocating for veterans’ rights. I’ve worked as the VFW District 8 Commander and on the Minnesota State VFW Council of Administration, ensuring that the voices and needs of our brave veterans are heard and addressed.
Back in my hometown, I’ve strived to be a force for positivity and progress. Recognizing the need for a safe and engaging space for our youth, I took the initiative to purchase and reopen the local bowling alley. This not only provided a fun outlet for our kids but also strengthened our community bond.
My commitment to making a difference didn’t stop at leisure activities. Witnessing discord within our city council, I decided to step in and run for a seat, driven by a belief in restoring civility and unity. My efforts have always been geared towards creating a more harmonious and effective council.
I also co-founded IFalls Nice, a platform that reflects my dedication to spreading positivity in our community. It serves as a beacon of hope and is a constant reminder of the good that exists in our town.
Now, I’m ready to take my passion for service to the State House of Representatives. My decision to run is not about personal ambition; it’s about my deep-seated desire to serve the people of Minnesota on a larger scale. My track record is a testament to my dedication, commitment, and ability to bring about positive change.
