How's everyone voting on the legislator pay amendment?

It would remove the ability for legislators to vote on their own pay and place it in the hands of an appointed independent board.

I was leaning against it. It strikes me as a backdoor way for them to get pay increases without having to be held accountable in voting for it. But on the other hand, on principle that is the way this sort of thing should happen, being able to vote yourself a pay increase is absurd. Thoughts?
