Chelsea Clinton stumps for mom in Rochester
The day after one of the nastiest presidential debates in history, Chelsea Clinton traveled to Rochester on Monday to urge her mother's supporters to tell friends, neighbors and supporters about the importance of voting in this year's election.
Clinton told a crowd of about 200 gathered at the Bleu Duck Kitchen that she is deeply concerned about comments being made by Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump about women, minorities and people with disabilities.
"I just never thought I would see this in my lifetime. And we have to stand against that rhetoric. We also have to fight for the policies that express our values," Clinton said.
She told the crowd that her mother, Hillary Clinton, is committed to investing in early childhood education, building off of Obamacare, making college affordable and requiring equal pay for equal work.
