(11,843 posts)it's Nolan in a landslide. I saw very few Republican signs. At the least, Republican voters seem to be embarrassed to identify themselves as the dumb asses they are.

(11,843 posts)London Road in Duluth is always a barometer, with the houses on the lake side trending republican and the houses on the upper side DFL. Nolan wins there by 10 to 1. All up the shore, to almost Gooseberry, Nolan totally dominates the yard sign game. Slimey Stuart, like Trump, doesn't have much of a ground game. His ads try to blame Nolan, inexplicably, for the US returning money to Iran. The money was to payback Iran for Iranian deposits that the US froze in 1979. But facts don't matter to Mills.

(19,339 posts)I dread waking up and having the country celebrating an HRC win while we in the 8th are faced with Mills. Duluth will have to turn out hard. The mining/water issue hasn't helped either inside or outside the party as well, I'm sure.
70 percent of this poll was landline, 30 percent was cell phone. I know this district trends older, but I'm not sure that's truly representative. Still, the DFL needs to bust its ass on this one.

We watch KSTP at 5:00 PM since we are at home then and since they include many national and international news with hardly any sports - unless there is the season opener of someone. This is the only time we watch local news.
