I went to a meeting of the credentials committee for the Ward convention this afternoon. Only three of us showed up. I was happy about that since for the amount of and type of work we need to complete three was the optimal number. I am tired ( 3 hours) but we got so much done and I feel like we solidified as a team.
We met in an office conference room. One of the men working in the office ( a Trump supporter) came in and asked me "What does the L in DFL stand for?" I answered "Labor". He then asked me "What kind of car do you drive?" I answered "One that was assembled in a waste-free factory in Indiana by American workers."
My fellow committee members started laughing. The man left the conference room; but he did come back and announce he liked me in spite of me being a socialist.

(176 posts)what complete morons these folks are. Next time, how about telling him if he hates socialism, he must hate our armed forces too, then? He must hate public schools, clean air, fresh water, safe food, safe drugs, and the list goes on.....

(897 posts)And I love it. Mine is a 2005 model that I bought in 2007. It's all wheel drive and has been very dependable.

(17,276 posts)I love it. We got it in 2010 but it's a 2006. Still running great! All wheel drive is wonderful in the Midwest! (we did have to do the airbag recall thing)
