Don't let the door hit you, I was thinking after reading this letter

The Star Tribune news staff (Nov. 8) declares that “Tim Walz’s victory over Jeff Johnson was remarkable in scale and breadth,” accompanied by a map showing most of Minnesota in red. Reality is that those of us in rural Minnesota have to live by the political wishes of those in urban Minnesota. I get it, but don’t have to like it. South Dakota is looking better every day.

In reality, people from the Dakotas and Iowa and Wisconsin move to Minnesota because it is a better place to live. Once here, however, they want to destroy what makes this an attractive place by cutting taxes and limiting funding. The former speaker of the House was one of them.

It seems pretty universal that it's blue urban areas VS red rural areas, with purple suburbs. AJT Nov 2018 #2

I've often said the worst thing that ever happened to Minnesota was the Wendell Anderson "Time" cover about the "Good Life in Minnesota". It encouraged all sorts of riff-raff to move here that weren't willing to pay to continue the "good life".

They are mad about being the minority most people live in urban cities or suburbs if we spread ourselves out evenly state wide races would still end up the same.

My thoughts exactly go back from whence they came.

We go through Sleepy Eye sometimes to go to Mrs. Geardaddy's dad's house.
