Hello Missourians

I hope this is OK to post here. I am really hoping for an answer about the area. If this isn't OK, please let me know and I will delete this

If anyone is familiar with St Louis, would you mind very much answering on the thread about timing of the Shaw shooting, please?

I live near Ferguson and work not too far from the Shaw neighborhood, however I really am not in any position to offer any speculation on the timeline of the events.

I appreciate that. Just seems odd to me all that running and shooting went down in 10 minutes just to end up where he started. But, again, I don't know the area at all.

The Pumpkin Ale at the Brew House this year is the best they've ever brewed it, IMO. If you haven't already, try Cathy's and El Palenque by the Ferguson police station. Breakaway Cafe is a decent place , too, but that's by the Bel-Nor police station.

I haven't ventured into Ferguson for a long while, beyond Harbor Freight Tools on West Florissant and sometimes to Paul's Meat Market. Just my travels don't take me in that direction and we become creatures of habit. I know that the Old Town Section has seen a revival with the mentioned spots, but not being much of a beer drinker, that kinda leaves me out of the brew spots.

Did try the Farmer's Market one time and found it to be pretty sparse and noted that Ferguson seemed to be something of a speed trap along New Florissant, East of 270.

I do hope that the community is able to rebound from recent events, make the changes that need to be made and become stronger.
