All lanes of I-70 closed in St. Charles Co. for Monday morning rush hour

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- All lanes of Interstate 70 are closed due to flood water in St. Charles County.

MoDOT says the eastbound lanes are closed near mile marker 220 from Bryan to the Mid Rivers Mall. Westbound lanes are closed from Mid Rivers to Highway 79.

MoDOT said in a tweet to expect the interstate to be closed at least until through the Monday morning rush hour.

What a mess. Sounds like a good day to take a sick day if you have those or just take the hit in missed wages and stay home.

we have now added wind to the equation so driving will be hazardous. I am fortunate to be off today and hoping that this dissipates before we get into Tuesday.
