Springfield man accused of making bomb threats at IHOP

A former IHOP employee was arrested last week after police say he made bomb threats toward a Springfield IHOP restaurant and the company's corporate headquarters in California.

Anthony G. Dozier, 32, was charged Saturday with making a terrorist threat after police say he posted threats on Facebook against the multinational breakfast chain.

According to a probable cause statement, Dozier called in a bomb threat last week concerning the IHOP on North Kansas Expressway in Springfield, where he used to be an employee.

The statement says Dozier also made a post on his Facebook page claiming he had placed a bomb inside the IHOP corporate offices in Glendale, California. That threat led to the evacuation of 400 people form the office so authorities could search for explosives.
