I don't think those numbers represent the actual rate because of limited testing. The Velveteen Ocelot May 2020 #5

The # of confirms is higher. Lack of testing makes it look like a high percentage. There are probably twice as many people infected.

The population of MO is 6.137 million, which multiplied by 80 is 488. That comes out to .00008, not .048, which would be the percentage of people who are ill, not of the total population. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/

I was referring to those that come down with C19 in Missouri. According to the Republican Government here, those that contracts the C19 will have 1 in 20 chances of dying.

In my state they are telling us that the reported cases might represent only 1% of the actual cases (people who get it but have no symptoms or aren't sick enough to require hospitalization). If they are only testing the most serious cases in the first place the percentage of reported deaths will be much higher.

What the Republicans confirmed the number of cases verses deaths in Missouri, their numbers say 5 percent will die from it if getting it.

I do agree with you that we all dont know the true numbers are without everyone getting tested; but realistically, that of itself impossible at this point.

We have come a long ways, but we need more testing. It sounds easy saying it, than doing it. We need a plan, we need tasks, we need action of the plans and tasks, then we should see results. I the meantime, we should respect everyone space. Unfortunately the deplorables think this is a another witchhunt.... for once they maybe right.... for the witches are hunting us down with this plaque.

But no one I know, believes Trump will save us... he is an idiot only for himself.
