Missouri voters prepare for extensive November ballot

ST. LOUIS – Missouri voters are gearing up for one of the most extensive ballots in recent state history this November, as several high-profile issues are poised to shape the future of state policy.

With the potential for longer polling lines and extended voting times, particularly in larger precincts, Missourians are taking steps to be well-prepared before stepping into the booth.

One of the most prominent issues on the ballot is a proposed constitutional amendment that would protect abortion rights, ensuring access to reproductive care, including abortion and contraception, up until fetal viability. If passed, this measure would overturn the state’s current abortion ban, making Missouri one of the first states to reverse such a law through a citizen-led initiative.

“This isn’t just about next year – this is about the future,” said Ellie, a voter from St. Louis. “It’s about the future for young women and women in general, and I think that’s really important. People really need to get out and vote.”
